To the degree that you are in touch with your body, you can FEEL the impact of, for example, cell phones on your head. But even pretty darn aware people–just to manage the demands of daily life–feel they have to push aside the subtle ques that “something is not quite right here…”

As a student of the Clairvision School of Meditation, I have learned that the school doesn’t demonize technology. At the same time, students learn how to very clearly feel the impacts of it, and take steps to both mitigate damage, and even enhance one’s use of it beyond “normal” levels. I’ll be giving a talk to this effect as one of several presentation on Saturday, May 19th in Berkeley.

I had the pleasure of attending the Wisdom 2.0 conference in Silicon Valley this past February. During the “Unconference” portion held at the Google campus, I hosted a discussion titled, “The Impact of Technology on Subtle Bodies: The Four-Fold Model.” It was great to see how quickly participants could relate to the Four-Fold Model (a Clairvision “map” that includes elements/terms from a variety of traditions), and how the wisdom of the energy body is immediately available to everyone. The impacts come to light with just a very short exercise that we will do on May 19th, and that you can do on your own later.

We will also discuss a few ideas addressing “subtle body building” that, as another student pointed out, enables you to “match” the technological devices, rather than feeling zapped and sapped by them at the end of the day…or even by the end of the morning.

“But that’s not all!” 🙂 I am one of several people giving talks about various aspects of living a healthy life in a healthy environment. The day is all about bringing subtle, yet powerful factors into conscious consideration: factors that have a huge impact over the course of a lifetime. See the list below, come for part of the day or the whole day, and I look forward to making the acquaintance of others who also care about a healthy body, and a healthy mental, energetic, and physical environment. There will also be a food energetics demo and tasting, a rejuvenating “night practice,” and a short film.

Extended Synopsis of “Incarnation” Short Film
“Incarnation” is the journey of a birth, as seen from the point of view of a soul.
It is a lyrical, poetic story, which takes us through various worlds, each of which carry specific qualities and characteristics which fashion the soul along it’s downward flight towards a human life in the physical, earthly realm. A vortex-like structure takes us from one world to another, as we ride through a matrix of spaces, images and structures. These encounters begin as quite abstract experiences and as we near the physical world become more dimensional and recognizable. Finally, the threshold between the non-physical and physical world is crossed, and we arrive as we always have, as a newborn baby.
*Astrological chart readings will be available during the morning with Karen O’Connell and Kat Lui.
